Hand picked barrels by Eric of the 2007 Vintage Russian River Pinot Vineyards were held in French barrels one additional year. A richer wine with a kiss more smokey oak from the barrel carries with it classic Russian River fruit on the nose. 

Russian River Valley vineyards of Pommard Clones dominating the Dijon Clones of Pinot Noir as they come together in this Reserve Wine, only made in the years deserving an extra look. We present our “Golden Hen”,nothing else would satisfy our cocky Rooster! The resulting complex wine delivers a rich, less fruit forward, sophisticated coee and cola with bright undertones of lively spices and well integrated smokey oak aromas from 30% new French Oak barrels.
